Ambre Cardinal
Ambre Cardinal est une artiste basée à Marseille.
Après un DNA en section Art et Objet aux Arts Décoratifs
de Strasbourg, elle obtient en 2012 un master de la Royal
College of Art à Londres.
De l’objet à l’image, en passant par la mise en scène, elle
exprime son univers poétique avec la volonté de faire
converger ces différentes pratiques. Son travail se construit
autour du corps en mouvement. Dans sa quête d’équilibre,
elle façonne à la main le métal et donne à voir des sculptures
de corps, bijoux d’espace. Ces lignes fines dessinent par le
vide et structurent notre champ du visible.
Lors de la Nuit Blanche organisé par l’institut français de
Kyoto en 2015, elle expose au sein de l’Ackua galerie, ce
qui amorce la programmation de plusieurs expositions
personnelles à travers le globe. En 2022, à l’occasion de la
Design Week de Milan, la galerie Jardino l’invite à présenter sa
première installation immersive.

Ambre Cardinal is an artist based in Marseille. After a DNA in the Art and Object section at the Decorative Arts of Strasbourg, she obtained a master's degree from the Royal College of Art in London in 2012. From the object to the image, through staging, she expresses her poetic universe with the desire to make these different practices converge. Her work is built around the body in movement. In her quest for balance, she shapes metal by hand and shows body sculptures, space jewels. These fine lines draw through the void and structure our field of the visible. During the Nuit Blanche organized by the French Institute of Kyoto in 2015, she exhibited at the Ackua gallery, which began the programming of several solo exhibitions across the globe. In 2022, on the occasion of the Milan Design Week, the Jardino gallery invited her to present her first immersive installation.
